When the microphone goes live on a gala stage, Tanner knows that the job he’s about to do can affect the trajectory of a nonprofit for the next 365 days. “I have the opportunity - for those few moments - to do things that are so much bigger than myself. That’s what drives me and why I enjoy working with nonprofits.”

Tanner, who was drawn to auctioneering as a young child in Mayfield, Kentucky, is the 2019 Kentucky State Auctioneering Champion and a certified Benefit Auctioneer. He loves how nonprofit events like galas give him the opportunity to bring people together for a common good. “I take pride in making sure that the donor who gives $100 feels just as appreciated as the one that give $25,,000. That’s my favorite part.”
